Eligibility Criteria

  • Indian citizen, or a citizen of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee (pre-1962), or a person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with intent to permanently settle in India
  • Educational qualification: Class 10th (Matriculation) pass, OR ITI (NCVT/SCVT), OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT, OR Course Completed Act Apprentices
  • Candidates awaiting their final qualifying-exam result are NOT eligible to apply — the qualification must be held on or before the application closing date
  • Age: 18 to 33 years as on 01.01.2026 (the notified crucial date)
  • Age relaxation: 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), 5 years for SC/ST, additional relaxation for PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and other categories notified by the Government of India
  • CCAA (Course Completed Act Apprentices)-certified candidates are separately eligible under the CCAA quota
