ExamOven - Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to ExamOven (the "Simulator", "Service"), operated by Samkarya. These terms govern your use of the ExamOven Exam Simulator service.

Important: Your use of ExamOven is conditional upon your acceptance of these terms.

2. Service Description and Intended Use

ExamOven provides a platform to simulate competitive examination environments for practice purposes. It allows users to take tests individually using official question sets (sourced publicly) or custom question sets uploaded/pasted by the user ("User Content"). It is intended as a study aid and preparation tool for individuals.

3. Use Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Attempt to manipulate, bypass, or exploit the timing mechanisms, scoring logic, or other features of the Simulator.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose (e.g., reselling access, charging others for use) without explicit written permission from Samkarya.
• Upload, paste, or distribute content through the Simulator that is illegal, hateful, defamatory, infringing on intellectual property rights, or otherwise violates applicable laws.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to interact with the exam interface or extract question content.

4. Question Content and Accuracy

• Official Questions: Questions sourced from our public GitHub repository are provided for practice based on publicly available past papers or contributed materials. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that these questions or their provided answers/explanations are free from errors. Use them as a study tool and verify information independently if needed.
• User Content: You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and copyright compliance of any question sets you upload or paste into the Simulator ("User Content") for individual practice. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights to use this content. ExamOven processes this content locally in your browser to provide the simulation service and does not claim ownership or verify its accuracy.

5. Results and Disclaimers

• Practice Aid: ExamOven results are intended for personal review and practice analysis. They are not a guaranteed predictor of your performance in actual examinations.
• No Warranty: The Simulator is provided "AS IS". We disclaim all warranties regarding the accuracy of questions, the perfection of the simulation, or the suitability of the Service for achieving specific exam results.

6. Data Storage

Your exam attempt history and results generated within ExamOven are stored locally on your device by default. If you opt-in to Google Drive Sync, your data will also be stored on your personal Google Drive account. Data handling, storage, retention, and your rights concerning this data are governed by our Privacy Policy. Use of the sync feature is subject to your acceptance of Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these ExamOven-specific terms occasionally. We will notify users of significant changes where feasible. Continued use of ExamOven after changes constitutes acceptance.
